I Didn’t Expect a Physics Game to Test My Self-Control This Much

Some games impress you with visuals. Others hook you with story or competition. And then there are games that look so simple you underestimate them completely—until they quietly take over your attention and refuse to let go. That was my experience with Eggy Car.
I went in thinking, This looks cute. I came out thinking, Why am I emotionally attached to an egg?
This post isn’t a technical review or a guide written from some expert perspective. It’s just my honest experience as a casual gamer who wanted a light break and ended up learning a few unexpected lessons along the way.
The Kind of Game You Open “Just for a Minute”
I discovered the game during a short break between tasks. I didn’t want anything intense. No multiplayer stress, no long levels, no mental commitment. I just wanted something I could play instantly and drop whenever I felt like it.
The setup couldn’t be clearer: a small car drives forward, an egg sits on top, and the only goal is to keep that egg from falling. One control. No explanations needed.
That alone made it feel welcoming.
What I didn’t expect was how quickly that simple idea would demand my full attention.
